Freelance Creative Assistant - Role Overview
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, highly organised creative to support our growing client workload in this social-first role. You’ll play a key part in executing and elevating creative work, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll work closely with our Lead Creative, supporting delivery, and helping us maintain the high standard VCS is known for.
The Details
Role: Freelance Creative Assistant, Vibras Creative Studio
Location: Remote-first (with occasional co-working days in London, usually 1-2 days per month)
Start Date: June 2026
Hours: Freelance, starting at approx. 10–15 hours per week (with potential to grow)
Rate: Hourly, half-day, and full-day rates available - to be agreed based on experience and scope.
Working Style: Flexible with structured weekly check-ins. You’ll work closely with our Lead Creative (Alice) across client projects, with clear direction and timelines in place.

What You’ll Do
Client Work (approx. 60%)
Edit short-form video content (Reels / TikTok)
Design social media graphics from existing creative direction
Prepare mockups, presentations, and client-ready assets
Support website builds (Squarespace population and styling)
Create email designs (Flodesk)
Assist with brand rollout across multiple touchpoints
Internal Support (approx. 20%)
Contribute to Vibras’ own brand (socials, website updates, marketing assets)
Support with internal creative tasks as needed
Workflow & Admin Support (approx. 20%)
(This is creative workflow support - not generic admin work)
Support with content scheduling
Organise files and maintain structured Google Drive systems
Export and prepare final assets for delivery
Set up brand kits in Canva/Adobe
Ensure projects are organised, up-to-date, and easy for the team to navigate
About You
You’re a proactive, detail-oriented creative with prior social media and design experience, confident working across content, brand and web.
You have a strong eye for layout, consistency, and aesthetic - naturally aligning with a more elevated, editorial style.
You’re organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks without things slipping.
You communicate clearly and take initiative - often spotting gaps, anticipating needs, and contributing beyond the task at hand.
You’re confident using tools such as Edits, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Squarespace and Flodesk, and are comfortable working within an existing creative direction.
A portfolio aligned with our style is essential.
